Ben Frost
I’m Ben Frost. I carry out the website checks and write the reports.
I’ve spent years working with New Zealand businesses on their websites, building them, keeping them up to date and sorting out problems.
Through Iceni Web, I work directly with business owners on new sites and existing ones that need some attention. That means understanding what the website needs to do for the business, finding the problems and explaining what needs fixing in plain English.
Website Check brings that experience into a focused inspection. I work through your site as a customer would, check the agreed journeys and write a practical report you can use yourself or pass to your developer.
Why this service exists
Launch day is only a snapshot.
Plugins get updated. Content gets edited. A booking link changes somewhere else. The enquiry journey that worked at launch may need another look later.
For a business owner, the question is practical: can someone find what they need, use the site on their phone and get in touch?
I test agreed representative pages and customer journeys, using technical tools alongside manual checks. The report records what I tested, what happened and what the result means for someone using your site.

The report and repairs are separate
The report is yours to use.
Iceni Web is where I build websites. Website Check is where I inspect them and write up the findings. You can fix an issue yourself, give the report to your existing developer or ask whether I can help.
Any repair work needs its own scope and agreement. There is no obligation to use me for it.
Each finding explains what happened, why it matters and a practical next step. I record passed checks too, so you have a record of what worked as well as what needs attention.
