Who is responsible.

Website Check is a service provided by Iceni Ltd (NZBN 9429034481370), which is responsible for personal information collected through this site under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

For privacy questions or requests, use the enquiry form and say that your message is a privacy request.

This website.

This site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical request information such as your IP address and browser details to deliver and protect the site. This site does not collect payments.

The enquiry page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a form is being sent by a person rather than an automated program. Turnstile processes information about your browser and device to do this.

Your light/dark preference can be saved in your browser’s local storage. It is used to remember the display mode, not to identify you.

We use Cloudflare’s analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they view. It does not use cookies or identify individual visitors, and we see only combined figures. This site has no advertising scripts.

Information needed for an enquiry.

The enquiry form asks for your name, business name, email, website address, notes about your request and confirmation of your authority to arrange testing.

We use it to respond, agree the scope, arrange the inspection and deliver the report. Providing enquiry information is voluntary, but without enough information we may be unable to arrange the service. Do not include passwords, payment details or sensitive customer information.

Inspection evidence.

An inspection may record publicly visible pages, test observations and relevant screenshots. Any authorised test enquiries use clearly labelled test details. Customer information and evidence are kept privately and are never published on this website.

We do not share a report or real inspection evidence publicly without your permission, or without first removing identifying information. The example report on this site is fictional.

Providers and storage.

Payments are handled by Stripe. When you pay an invoice or payment link, your payment details go to Stripe, not to Website Check or this website. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy policy and may handle it outside New Zealand.

Enquiries are received through Formspark, run by Trampoline Software SRL in Belgium. Formspark stores submissions in Ireland and Germany, screens them for spam, and some of its service providers are outside Europe (see Formspark’s privacy policy).

Enquiries and replies are handled by email through Zoho Mail, using Zoho’s Australian data centre.

Because these providers are overseas, your information may be stored or processed outside New Zealand. We only share it with them to provide the service.

How long we keep information.

We keep enquiry details, correspondence and reports only for as long as we need them to provide the service, answer questions about it and meet legal obligations, such as keeping business and tax records. We then delete them. You can ask us to delete an enquiry that did not lead to an inspection.

Access and correction.

You can request access to personal information held about you and ask for corrections. Send your request through the enquiry form. We may need to confirm your identity before releasing or changing information.

Changes to this statement.

We update this statement when our providers or practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
