Terms
Service terms.

The service and agreement.
A Standard Website Check is an independent inspection of agreed representative public pages, templates and customer journeys, followed by a plain-English report. Website Check is a service provided by Iceni Ltd (NZBN 9429034481370), which is the party you contract with and pay.
Scope, price, timing, delivery arrangements and authorised test activities are agreed with you by email before work begins. This website does not take orders or payments.
Authority and safe testing.
The person requesting an inspection must own or manage the website, or have authority to request testing. The standard service uses public pages and does not require login details.
We do not make website changes, exploit vulnerabilities, place real orders or access private accounts as part of the standard inspection. Ordinary browsing can still create analytics activity. Any form submissions are agreed with you first and labelled as tests.
Scope and limits.
The report describes the website as observed at the time checked. Representative testing cannot identify every possible defect, and changes to content, plugins, browsers or third-party services can affect later behaviour.
SEO rankings, penetration testing, formal accessibility audits and compliance certification are excluded. The report is not a guarantee of future uptime, security, accessibility compliance or business performance.
The report and repairs.
You can use the report to fix issues yourself or give it to your developer. Repair work is separate and needs its own agreement; there is no obligation to use Website Check for repairs.
Passed checks record specific observations within the agreed scope.
Payment, changes and cancellations.
Once the scope is agreed, we email you a Stripe invoice or payment link for the agreed price plus GST. Payment is due before the inspection starts. You pay on Stripe’s secure payment page; this website does not take payments or card details.
If the agreed scope needs to change, we agree the change and any extra cost with you before doing the additional work.
If you cancel before the inspection starts, we refund what you have paid in full. Once the inspection has started, the fee is not refundable. This does not affect any rights you have that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Concerns and complaints.
If you are unhappy with the inspection or the report, please contact us first. We will look into it and try to put it right.
Your rights.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under New Zealand law that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986 where they apply.
Information and confidentiality.
Customer details and inspection evidence are handled as described in our privacy statement. Please avoid sending passwords or unnecessary personal information. We do not publish real reports or evidence without permission or without removing identifying information.
